Yoga for Runners with Sound Runner

February 17 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm EST

Did you know that runner’s are known to lack flexibility?
Taught by experienced yoga teacher, runner and exercise physiologist, Sarah Hill, this class will focus on recovery, injury prevention and increasing overall strength and mobility for runners and walkers of all levels.

Instructor Bio:

Sarah is a yogi, exercise physiologist, spiritual seeker, runner and personal trainer. She is grateful for the practice of yoga as a way to understand her body and life more fully. After being challenged with injury throughout her high school and college running career, and subsequently depression for much of her 20s, she began to explore sustainable options for injury prevention and rehabilitation in body and mind. Sarah developed both stretching and strengthening routines to keep her running injury free, alongside spiritual disciplines and practices to welcome the light back into her life.

Through these practices of mindfulness and increased body awareness, she is on the continual path of healing her body and living a fuller, more joy-filled life. Sarah is passionate about empowering others to connect with and find peace, power, endless possibility and joy in their own bodies and minds.

With her diverse background in the scientific study of anatomy & physiology, and spiritual study in monasteries & retreat centers, she brings a balance of effort and ease, as well as alignment and flow into her classes. Get ready to be challenged physically! You will leave class with increased mobility, a sense of peace, and the readiness to live your best life at work, at play and on the athletic field!
